sit, think, figure.

currently working on sketches for a new series of paintings, which, hopefully, I'll be able to sell for decent dough. I won't ask much, given that I'm neither very good at this or a business genius: I'm more of a small-scale installation sculptor than an enterprising painter, but I had some colorfully appealing ideas lately and I'd like to get them out of my system before they vanish.

motif: nature, more specifically - birds, trees, rain, the calm, but energetic outdoors. messages... psychologically-riddled and philosophically-rich messages, acrylic and pen, muted tones, bright hues, contrast. cursive, tiny cursive words.

...can't possibly imagine life without music or art, and couldn't survive without the both of them together. I'd have no inspiration - I'd be stuck doing realism, which I suck at, and hating it, the way Picasso did, before he decided that every act of creation is first an act of destruction.
art lets me destroy things
and then create them the way I want them to be.
i'll make you see what I see.
