Sketches are going good, for those interested in my artistical exploits.
(I'm thinking sculpey or stoneware clay-made, then painted in various single-tone or colorful patterns, glazed for shine....) Problem is resources. I'm currently between jobs, and looking for anything, anything I can get. I wish I hadn't rejected a position at Wal-Mart a few months back.
I'd give anything to shuffle pastries around their deli counter now.
What the hell was I thinking? The economy sucks.
Psychology class this morning - just took a test. Hung around afterward to chat it up with the professor about random psychologically-bending ideas, notions, and theories. Enlightening, confusing. My professor - hah, he's far too self-conscious, always worrying his students think he's going off on a tangent too often. I like it.
listening to "Save Me, San Francisco," from Train's new album of the same name, which'll be released on October 27th. I ordered a copy from Amazon back in September, but a few days back saw the band was offering bundle packs for the thing on their website, and I HAD to have an exclusive t-shirt and signed poster, so I ordered that pack, and now I'll have two CDs...
that's okay. Gifting is always an option. I was going to get my money back from Amazon, but hell, it was only ten bucks, and I know some people who might want it.
looking forward to tonight. My weekend begins on Saturdays, not Fridays, so... maybe I'll go to the park, if we get our cloud cover back. I don't fare well under the sun, but I've got a longing for fresh air, green trees, and the shiny minnows in the creekbed. I want to think. Still, my chest pain is killing me. I woke up with a Charlie Horse (or whatever), and that's gone, thank goodness, but clambering around outdoors might not be conducive to muscle relaxation.
Anyway, updates again later.
My room will smell like this incense for days.
